Listening to Winkar's as i type:
Nice start.
Fucking hell, is that that Bieber kid i keep seeing on telly?
Noticed the fx and extra production. Sounds maybe a bit too much high end.
Is that Luda? Fits well. He's not listed on the sources so i assume he was on the JB track anyway.
The mental isn't my kind of club tune, bit dull. But it sounds like the kind of thing that might be a club remix of a pop tune, nicely done.
I'd give this a 3.5 cos it's well done, but not my cuppa. And i can imagine this didn't take too long to do? So that's a 3 i'll be voting for this.
Good tune Winkar

Listening to DJ Cue's as i type...
I think after 3 secs i know where this is gonna go!
I've used that Jay-Z track with a slow song, but stuck some extra instrumentation on cos i thought it was a bit samey after a while. You could have cut the backing up more.
I really don't think the Jay-Z speaky bits work when Bobby's telling it like it is. And there's an awful clicky noise - i've also tried that pella before and it was awful quality, but i don't remember them. Are they meant to be there?
Argh, the clicks are annoying me still.
It ends very abruptly.
Right, i like the vibe Cue, but it sounds a wee bit hurried to me - i'd say a 2.9 so i'm gonna give it a 2. But that's so it's getting less than Winkar's which i thought was a better track, but i don't think his warranted a 4.
Nice style though, just the production let you down a wee bit in my humble opinion.

Dylans thoughts:
Winks:
Perfect audio quality (what else would you expect from the Mexican master?). I'm surprised you used JB, which is an odd one for you. Everything works as you would expect, but ... this is a little easy for you. I would have thought you would have gone for something difficult.
I vote a 4 (but I am a bit sad you didnt risk it a bit)
Cue:
Its great to see so many new people go in for this. Your idea is one of the most original things in this battle so far. I think either your software or your knowledge has let you down here. The Bobby Mcferrin track has not been recorded to a click track and is well and truly all over the place. You would need Ableton's warping or an Elastic pro algoritm to get that tempo'd up.
So the execution suffers a bit but the idea is truly a GREAT one.
I vote a 3 (but it would be a 3.8 if I could).
I do however see this as being a close battle. Winkar's sources are not that well chosen (they work for public ears mate, but in a battle ... ). Winkar should have won this hands down, and gone on to challenge in the final - but now who knows ?????
