Interesting, isn't it?! I cannot explain it, because in the end it is absolutely perfect. Just the first and the second part are very strange. And know what? You are the first one who heard that, too!

hmmm, I frontpaged this because it sounded really good to me but...

Green day is going up at bit with his voice in those two spots you mention. I had to put on headphones to really hear it though as it seems to mix better with speakers. I listened to the original and his voice sounds a bit pitchy when he goes up higher (like it's out of his range a bit)

For the third part he's not singing it the same as the first two parts.

It's not a big difference for me but maybe it's just my ears but now I'm not sure, perhaps it could have used a slight repitching in those two parts? I'd like to hear some more comments.

Don't worry Bruce, it works fine... there are the slightest moments "Lord knows" and "I feel like" that are a bit odd but they are so brief as to be unnoticable to most, and as said through most speakers won't be noticed at all.
I'm not gonna say anymore on this because usually criticising choc leads to him calling for me to be removed as a mod... he hates me

Oh don't get me wrong Brucemeister, I think it sounds great and I would've FP'd it as well - they do sound made for each other.

Yes, there is a slight awkward few notes there and yes, maybe slight re-pitching could've helped, but to be honest, they didn't ruin my enjoyment of the mash at all. Still love it, despite its flaws

Please do not misunderstand me, boys: I like that track, too. But I really had the feeling that there's something wrong: It disturbed me since I heard it for the first time and I really thought that my ears were not okay. It's not that it ruins the joy of the tune, but I simply wanted to know if it's me or the song itself which is not 100%. I'll sleep better knowing that there's indeed a little disharmony in it and Sammy's working within normal weird pepper parameters...
