Hey guys I'm back with another mashup. I guess this one just randomly came to me through how well Release Me and Trio came together and it just went from there. I've always wanted to use Release Me in a mashup and finally got my chance, to be quiet honest I'm not sure why this sample isn't used in more mashups. Her voice is just great.

Haha anyways, im a big fan of arty and i was actually a bit dissapointed when i heard trio yesterday, so i took a listen at your version at soundcloud.

And well, i really like it. It needed some vocals! I kinda lose the mashup feeling a bit in the middle tho, but its a downloader none the less ^^

And if ur interested in doing another Release Me mashup, i could tip you off with a Mat Zo song that is a pretty good pairing =)

Haha I have no idea what's wrong with the link I c/p the soundcloud link so I don't know what's up :/. Anyways I was a little let down by Trio myself but when I played it with release me, it sounded so natural. I'm pretty sure if you played it for a person who didn't know either song he/she would think it's the original vocals in there. But I kind of got bored with Release Me as I usually do when I do mashups and wanted to add more in and so came Adele, RHCP and Madonna. Also thanks for the suggestion but I have a personal policy of not reusing samples. I think one song is enough and from then I want to move on to something different. But PM me the song and I'll just play around with it for my own amusement.

Hey Compson Sound this mashuop is pretty hip to my ears. My only tip on this one is quality of the sources sound a tudge muddy kind of like everything is at 128kbps quality. What quality KB sources are you using and posting? It might just need some good eq work to brighten it up a bit and make it a bit crisper overall.

Well soundcloud only plays at 128 kbs but the samples overall that I used are either at 320 or 256. What do you recommend in terms of EQing to make it crisper?

Ok so I downloaded the mp3 and had another listen and then listened to the online version and they sound close to the same. I see you have your mp3 in 320K quality. On the second listen it doesn't sound as muddy as when I first listened. I think I might have bumped out my headphones slightly as I was on the bus when I was listening so that might have been the cause of me thinking it was muddy. However, I do feel that the vocals are getting drowned a bit in the mental here and there and would recommend a bit of releveling to bump up the pellas a bit or lower the mental a bit where they are both competing heavily for the same space. Hopefully others will comment on some tips who know more about final mastering than I do cheers!

The biggest problem I have with this track isn't the terrible audio quality... no... my problem is why it was ever made. Don't think I'm being harsh because this isn't just aimed at you, I'm hearing it more and more in the dance tracks that are submitted, there is no unity in the vocals,, nothing that ties them together, If you can't find vocals with a common theme then be more creative with the structuring of the track so we are fooled into thinking everything ties together because as it stands this is just random blocks of vocals and as such doesn't work at all for me.
