HCD thanks a lot for your advice!
I tried to follow your "tutorial" and it was quite easy as I'm also using Fab Filter MB for SC MB compression. However, I can't get the bands as small as you said. My minimal bands for me are
750Hz-1.5kHz
1.5kHz-3.0kHz
3.0kHz-6.0kHz
Is there any setting with which I can unlock smaller bands? Or is my version just outdated?
Thanks. I hope the mix will get better in the next version!

I like the pairing bangs along nicely!
Thanks. I hope the mix will get better in the next version!

Those Frequencies ranges are ball park so.. no, I bet your range will work fine.

V3.0 is done. I improved the SC multiband compressor as suggested by HCD to give the vocals more space.
Let's see if this did the trick...
Just curious: Do you always use roughly these frequency bands for all vocals or is this different for each mashup?

Sending is up. Very clear now. Great Job!!

Bit of both. Ball park is within 100Hz. Most vocal issue are as follows
The ranges change a little if you pitch. But every song might require treatment in these areas. The only time you have to hit all of these is in a mega mashup.

Bit of both. Ball park is within 100Hz. Most vocal issue are as follows
- Kick bleed or low noise 100Hz and lower
- Muddy vocals 300Hz to 500Hz lowered in the vocal (EQ)
- Vocals Are Tinny Increase 300-500-600-800Hz via Expander (EQ and Multiband Expansion)
- Can't hear vocal vowels 700-900Hz This rarely happens but when it does it's lowered in the instrumental (EQ - Multiband)
- Over nasal quality from a vocal filter typically 800Hz Male to 1kHz for Female lowered in the vocal
- Sharp but can't put your finger on the range is typically 1kish and just needs to be controlled via Multiband
- Vocals getting buried is typically 1k - 1.3 kHz lowered in the instrumental (EQ - Multiband)
- To much noise or brass is in the way 1.3 - 3kHz lowered in the instrumental (Multiband)
- Something is hurting my ears, Typically 3.3kHz - 3.5kHz lowered in the vocal (Multiband)
- The vocals are too bright or the triangle percussion is too loud 5kHz lowered in the vocal or instrumental (Multiband)
- The Esses are to piercing 7HZk - 7.5kHz and 9kHz -11kHz
The ranges change a little if you pitch. But every song might require treatment in these areas. The only time you have to hit all of these is in a mega mashup.
