Here's the prize rundown:

1st Place:
One downloadable version of Traktor LE, 2 x Stanton SCS 3.d, 1 x Stanton SCS 3.m, support from Stanton should you need it & a special loop package from Fatloud.com.

2nd Place:
One downloadable version of Traktor LE, 2 x Stanton SCS 3.d, 1 x Stanton SCS 3.m, support from Stanton should you need it & one loop package from Fatloud.com.

3rd Place:
One downloadable version of Traktor LE, 2 x Stanton SCS 3.d, 1 x Stanton SCS 3.m, support from Stanton should you need it & one loop package from Fatloud.com.

4th Place:
One downloadable loop pack from Fatloud.com, one downloadable version of Ableton Lite for Mac or PC & support from Ableton should you need it *

5 - 10th Place:
One downloadable loop pack from Fatloud.com.

* If 4th placed person already has Ableton, we resere the right to give it to the next best placed person who does not own a version. No alternative will be offered.

EVERYONE in the final should also recieve trial membership to Camelot Sounds (a database of song keys). This will be worked out within the next week.

At long last, we are done!! Congratulations to all, this challenge has been a blast!! And regardless of who won, we are all left with a treasure trove of top notch, kickass mashups.

Thanks to Paul and Dylan for putting up with all the headaches...all things considered, I think you guys managed to pull it off just fine...with a few lessons learned for next time.

As for me, I realized the other day I've been in "competition" mode since early June..it'll be nice to let my hair down for awhile I gotta say thanks to my fellow competitors for keeping my on my toes!



One little thing though....no special prize for trash talk? I would've thought the way I took it to the Yanks would count for something.....

There is a very good idea for the next challenge, but we've just started talks with the people involved - so I can't see it being organised for a few months yet.

Plus there is the voting system, & sponsors to arrange. If anyone wants to donate any commercial contacts they have please let us know. The prize fund this time around is around 2,500 US Dollars - we'd like to go for a bigger prize fund next time around, and a shorter duration for the challenge.

There is also going to be a few other projects made common knowledge in the hext few weeks, so watch this space !
