oky dokes...
i've listened and voted on every track up at the mo:
Fave tune for me tho was...:

Maggie - maybe not best tune i've heard in the comp, but my fave so far. sound is a bit thin maybe, but i love it. was singing and bobbing along. maybe helped by the fact that Freeland Hellraiser used that DM tune in the first bootleg i ever heard, but no matter. voted a 4.

If anyone cares, thought I'd throw my two cents in on these... a pretty strong group here! All of the tracks are at least decent, if not great.

I guess I like Vandals' track more than everyone else does... doesn't reinvent the wheel, but I do think it works really well.

Nosbic is the man when it comes to technical skill... the sound quality is great and it all flows together nicely. I'm not big on the source material though, so it was kind of boring for me.

Maggie's is pretty killer-- great sources that work perfectly together!

Not a huge fan of Mustang's, though I do appreciate the genre clash, and I like both sources. I really don't think the vocals are on beat the whole time. I was actually going to use Superstition for mine, so I'm glad I didn't!

Kellys' track I'm on the fence about... there are parts where the vocal feels ahead of the beat to me, but it still works. Also, the lyrics in that song are just so silly-- obviously not the masher's fault, but it's hard to take something seriously with a chorus that says "be my #2" over and over again. I don't want to be anybody's #2... EVER. Or their #1 for that matter.

OK this was a nice lunch break for me watching your video!

Wow Maggie! Really cool chroma effects and work! I love how you matched the chroma effects with DM to the orginal M.I.A. XXXO video. I liked your mashup before I saw the mashup vid and now I like it even more with the video! I would even say that your mashup (using the just can't get enough DM mental is better than the original M.I.A. mental and I like the M.I.A pella at the faster speed you matched it to with the DM mental. Overall I'd say I like the mashup better than the M.I.A. Original :) and I'm not just saying that because I love anything by DM ;)

This is going to be a close race as there are a lot of strong mashups in this group!

MMM - I really like your Mashup. It's great how you mash such different genre's and make them sound like they were made for each other!

Mad Mix Mustang: Best mashup I have heard for years...

Was really interested to see how you'd work with the time signature of of Golden Brown.

Did you 'swing' the vocals from Superstition?

Nice use of the raw master files that have been doing the rounds on the internet for the past few years. The drums and trumpet hooks are simply stunning...

I played Sheffield o2 Academy last night and wish I'd have had this to open my set... I'll play it first song tonight.

Excellent work..
