Re: Finding the key of a song
All those tips were so useful for me and I still thank I received it
I also discovered a free alternative software because I don't have a credit card to buy Mixed In Key (yet), it's called "KeyFinder", here it is: http://www.ibrahimshaath.co.uk/keyfinder/

Re: Quick and Dirty pichting guide
Hi mate, I know I'm only 4 months late, but only just spotted this post and it makes very good reading - well done!!
I must admit, I've never had any musical training (but often thought about studying it - if only I had the time). I make my mashups using my ears (and a little help from Mixed In Key). Just a thought, but would it help other people in explaining how to pitch shift sources (pellas, stems, mentals, etc) from one key to another?
