Hi guys

Here's my first for 2010. I guess it's kind of more a remix than a mash but seeing as it's a piano loop from one track and the vocal from another it narrowly fits this category.

I've added my own strings, piano and synths to hopefully break up the repetition of the loop.

Great way to start 2010 and this defo sounds like something Phil would conjure up.... which in itself is a huge compliment

Very nice use of own production fx here as well..... this is the future of mashups in my opinion as mashers have to find ways to stand out as more and more people are starting to mix/mash. (imo we're gonna double the # of people in the scene this year.... and not all of it is gonna be pretty. lol)

Verdict: FRONTPAGED!

what paul said, very cool mash i can see this on my show at some point as i'm playing more mashups now although i must say not sure which bit is the doors i'm assuming its the piano loop, but dont recognise the track its from?

Boris - The piano loop is from the Infected Mushroom mix of People are Strange. It's basically the first 8 bars of the mix (don't even know what the rest sounds like to be honest! LOL).

Edit - I've listened to the rest of the Doors remix and it's actually very good in an electro stylee. The remix album is highly recommended IMHO.

the mushroom mix/piano loop is kinda "strange" sounding from the original. maybe i'm more likely used to echo & the bunnymen's cover version. great track anyway!

Cheers Mike. Yeah the piano intro does eventually play the PAS melody then gets all electro on your ass
