Mashoff #36 - Progressive Rock: DJ Firth wins!!!!
Re: Mashup Mashoff #36 - Progressive Rock
Finally found a cool combo. Hope I can get it done in time!
Re: Mashup Mashoff #36 - Progressive Rock
Whoever wins, I have two suggestions for future mashups contests you might consider using:
1. Video game mashups: do a mashup involving music from or about or related to a video game.
2. Anime OST mashups: do a mashup involving a song from an anime OST. Or alternatively, use nearly every song from an anime OST.

No guarantees, but I'd be down for that!

How much time do I have before the polls open?

I assume we're still going with the 20th, despite the short month. Might have to pull an all-nighter on the 19th, but I should have something in

It's a leap year. As the Grand Poo-Bah of this month's contest I declare that the deadline for entries will be 11:59:59 PM Central Time on the night of FEBRUARY 22, 2016.

It would also be interesting to have a contest in which you are only allowed to use songs & samples which you have clear legal authorization to use, such as Creative Commons and public domain sounds. It's a pointless arbitrary limitation but may have interesting results, since there is some interesting stuff under CC license, including a large selection of Jonathan Coulton

Is this supposed to be allowed?
Mashup Name: So Sick Of Parabolas (DL Link Included)

So... I decided to break one of my own rules to put this one here:
"no mashups with sources used before by myself (such as same vocals or instrumentals from another mash)"
Hope you enjoy it! I don't have any ideas, neither time to pull this one out with better results
Tool - Parabola (vocals)
Ne-Yo - So Sick (instrumental)
Good Luck everyone!

Can I enter the contest, even though it was my theme?
I am working on a very silly idea
is called "DIE FOR MASHUPS"
