Yes!

1. Enable download on the Edit Track page at hearthis

2. Open the track page on hearthis by clicking on the track title in the tracklist. Do not use Edit Track as it opens a popup window and doesn't reveal the URL of the track. The URL in your browser should be something like
Code: Select all
http://hearthis.at/awesomeproducer/coolest-trackname-of-all-times/

Copy this URL to your clipboard.
Do not use the shortened URL you get by clicking on the Share button, as it won't work for the preview player.

3. When posting on mashstix use the URL you copied in step 2. and append /download to it when specifying the MP3 URL for the previewplayer.
Use the same URL you used for the preview player for your download link in your post.
The resulting text should look like this:
Code: Select all
[MP3PREVIEW]http://hearthis.at/awesomeproducer/coolest-trackname-of-all-times/download[/MP3PREVIEW]
Download here

4. Preview your post and check whether both links work.

5. Done! :1smiley:

No Problem.

Maybe the first post should be updated with the additional hearthis info.
It's a bit tedious for new users to read the whole thread.

Download links!!

Post Sat Dec 14, 2013 2:30 pm

Hi Guys
Can you all please remember to add a download link in your posts... Seems a lot of members are forgetting.

...Also remember we prefer it to be a direct download so members don't have to leave Mashstix to get your tracks.

Thanks people :1grin:

Oki... are you PC or Mac...? I'm Mac and Firefox and it works fine for me.
