Hi everyone - I'm old!

I've been working with tape and vinyl for fun since the mid 80s, into the 90s as an occasional DJ and into 2000+ as a synth programmer/writer/arranger of psychedelic electronic music (ambient, downtempo, breaks, progressive house/trance).

Nothing released yet.

The end!

Hi everyone!

I'm new here - Cor v. S. recommended me to register this forum because of my serious addiction to this "very special kind" of music. :1wink:

I live in a beautiful town in East Germany so my English is "not even perfect" (I learned Russian in school - big THX to g****e-translate)
Since I started as a music consumer loooong time ago, I have tried almost all styles of music until I got stuck on mashups. For more than a decade I'm on Mashstix and Sowndhaus etc and collected a huge collection of your songs. There is a relatively small but constantly growing club scene in my city. We have some very good Producer and DJ's in town (most famous are e. g. PDM and Eskei83) and also a few Mashup-DJ's. Since the beginning of 2019 I started to collect a lot of material from my entire "music history" (a few thousand audio-files) to try out some things with my new DJ controller and rekordbox (currently still without any DAW) I always had in mind. That alone is great fun for me right now! :1smiley: I know it sounds anything but professional because I actually have a good musical ear for the right bpm and keys. It's just a question of experience and time but hopefully it will grow soon with more time and practise and hopefully some help. Soon I would like to ask here a few questions here to make better progress step by step. I would be really happy for your advice. Thank you very much in advance! :1smiley:

See you! :1grin:
