I admit that it's been eerily quiet here of late. Not sure where the other mods have gone. But this situation is not unprecedented. It needs to go to a vote. May the best mashup win.

Thanks for the tip Satis5d, you are right, it must come to a vote.
But I fear that if just the two submitters vote, it will be a tie (1-1). As it is now at 0-0 (but I like both mashups).
Others can vote as well (as they did in my win last month) but 'everyone' seems to be away.

I tried, following the rules in the OP, to make the voting thing myself but cannot copy the HTML from an older contest in this input box (well I can, but it does not WORK).
There is no extra button next to Bold, Italic, video, fimg= and so on for me.
So I need a mod to do it for me - and post it sticky.

My 'solution' to get out of the swamp by putting them both on the Frontpage at once (instead of having one winner go to the FP and then number two submits his mashup regularly and it gets on the FP also) and then have them agree on a common mashoff for december 2019 as the last from the first decennium of this century, is something I cannot do myself, because I cannot FP stuff. And of course, the mashoff can be FP'd by ONE mod, but for a normal FP you need TWO mods.

I recommend Zookreeper to re-submit his work as a 'usual' mashup so that it can get on the FP as well.
