Everything about this sounds seamless to me. Wish I had constructive feedback to give you, but you pretty much nailed this one!

I know this one is all done and released etc, but is there any way to make the instrumental sound less muddy (or find a better version?).

I've been looking for a Go West instrumental for years. None exists. I created this one using the studio version and the best karaoke version I could find. The muddy parts are actually the studio version. :1undecided:

If you know where I can find a better version, I'm interested! :1grin:

Great combo here :1rolleyes:

I'm holding my recommendation for a while, just in case someone is holding a better instrumental version :1smiley:

Ha, I had forgotten who Angels and Airwaves were, so I was thinking how the singer sort of sings like Bink 182's singer. The pitch change was definitely transformative, but fortunately not in a negative way. Good page fronting track.

Actually I think you did a good job splicing together the two instrumentals (if not for the discussion, not sure I would have noticed).

That can be such a PITA, it'd be great if there was a plugin that matched the power spectrum, mid-side balance, etc. of two sources: even an "official instrumental" sometimes sounds noticeably different than the full version (multiband compression during mastering?) and it's a lot of trial-and-error to ease the transitions.

Anyway, this is a fun track: it sucked me in with memories of high school, then educated me about a mid-2000s supergroup.

Thanks, guys. I'm rather fond of this one myself. Creating an instrumental indeed has its challenges, but this one worked out rather well, considering.

Thanks for the Recommend and Front-Page too, MG and SMASH! :1kiss:
