This is great, warezio, nice finding :1rolleyes:

I like what you did here, it sounds like original acoustic version made by George Michael himself, congrats!!

:1shocked: Oh man, how good is this combo?!?! :1shocked:

It’s one of those, “Why has no one done this yet?!” kind of ideas!

It’s a shame the original “Faithfully” isn’t available for bootlegging, but this piano cover creates a nice mood that works well in transforming “Faith”. I only wish there was an easy way to add Steve Perry singing the lyric “faithfully” into the chorus for the awesome tie-in.*

The phrasing of the vocals in the first chorus didn’t work as nicely as what you did in the second chorus. Is there a reason you didn’t do it that way for both? The second chorus is absolutely perfect for me.

The “doo doo doo doo” ad libs are excellently placed as well. And great job on the timing throughout--the instrumental is noticeably not very strict on its timing, especially after 3:03.

*EDIT: In the original “Faithfully”, Perry sings the titular word almost entirely a cappella with just some faint piano reverb in the distance and the next piano note lands slightly before he finishes the word. If you could get the piano note to land right, crossfade it just right, and reverb it just right you might be able to sample it and include it in this track. It would be awesome, but not entirely crucial to the track. Did I mention it would be awesome though?

I love pianomashups! This sounds great and will surely be FP'd, but is there any way to make George sound less strained? Probably not, but I guess it would be nice :1wink:

Ha! I see what you did there.

These tracks start roughly 8 semitones off in tempo (and same key), which is probably why ...

... but still maybe I can speed it up a bit more.

Ok let me revisit this.

I saw the title and I wondered...
Is this going to be Faith vs. Faithfully?!
I didn't want to believe it.
Then I clicked it.

Amazing how nice these two sound together! :D
Beautiful!

Nobody had done this yet because not many people think as far outside the box as Warezio does. I never would have guessed those two songs would work together. IMPRESSIVE! :1cool:

Version 2 posted.

I sped this up 1 semitone, which alleviates some of the pressure.

Great idea! I managed to get this working.
