The spot at 0:55 is extra funky, and I think that may be why the timing sounds off to satis5d, but I don’t hear anything wrong with it. “13 month old baby” still isn’t in the funkiest spot it could be in, nor is “good things in your past” at 3:01 (I didn’t catch this the first time), but I think those are okay if you leave them alone, honestly.

I feel like the ending still needs another second to decay. It is much better, but still drops off pretty suddenly. How about a version 2.1? :1smiley:

I’m interested to hear what SMASH thinks about the changes...

Ok i will fix the ending again :1grin: thanks for the advices guys!

:1huh: It doesn’t sound any better to me :1sad: I listened to the original instrumental and sounds like it just fades out after that point. Could you just do a short fade out after that note? I like what you’re trying to do, ending on that big brass stab, but it needs a ton of reverb and/or delay to make it sound organic and smooth. What software are you using to make this, Xouth?

This is what I mean for a natural ending with reverb:

All I did to get that sound is to fade out quickly after that big brass note, then put a bit of reverb on that note and let it ring for an extra second. Hope that helps!

I like the improvement of version 2.1, and I also feel more comfortable with the ending MG suggested.
Fix the ending and I'm sure that everyone will be satisfied :1wink:

I think it's fine now, maybe it didn't work fine because i was trying to do it with a delay :1grin:
