This is the last Mashstix Alternative Show. I like to personally thank G3RST for the amazing job he's done with the show (don't worry he's not leaving the team)
There is some good news with the bad however, as The Radio Stix Show will be back in full swing with a whole new crew... keep your eyes peeled! - Paul Stix
Outstanding debut album track from our very own Reborn Identity !
Considering this was made with two original tracks (no acapellas or instrumentals here folks) this is staggeringly good. Like G3rst said in the forums, I also checked to see if the sources had been combined before - they go together too well !
For those that don't know this is a debut track from Reborn's new Britpop Rebooted tribute. You can grab it, or listen to it at s225705621.websitehome.co.uk/
Fantastic work Gavin !
Cons:
Zero problems with this one. As I said above I can't believe this is two original tracks. Great production all round.
The combination of instrumental sources in this mix is beautiful with a capital B. aaannd... as long as you're not put off Charlene, your heart rate will slow and you'll be taken on a transcendent musical journey without leaving the comfort of your recliner. It's also beautifully done with some spot on production, as one would expect from the Reborn Identity.
Cons:
I'm put off by Charlene. As someone who's actually used that acapella I have to tread carefully here, but I just can't forgive the use of that song in its entirety unless it's done in a tongue-in-cheek context. The nauseating lyrics rip through this mix like a chainsaw through butter I'm afraid, even though against this backing, the sound of Charlene's voice itself often borders on the ethereal. For me, the "I've been to paradise" lyrics by themselves were the only part that suited the beauty of this music. Anything else I say here would only be in the vein of "I woulda this", and "I woulda that", so I'll shut up now.
Tips:
Please ignore the bitter ramblings of a weary cynic who was around when Charlene dominated the charts.

Everything! this is a wonderful and mellow combination. But to be honest I wouldn't expect anything else from you. I simply love this track - I even loaded it on my iphone and I do this with like 1 out of 50 tracks. That's also a reason why I still got lots of free space there :-) Wonderful mate, simpyl wonderful!
Cons:
It sucks that I don't get more tracks like this to review - cause it's pure listening pleasure :)
Tips:
Keep doing what youre doing and don't let anybody give you and tips. As you know what's good!

This mashup rocks mate!!! You transformed some new fresh stuff into a great and flawless produced rocking track. Can't believe this is originally an electropop track.
Cons:
Couldn't find even one.
Tips:
Keep on rocking mate!!
