One of the things I like to hear in a A+B mashup is two very different sources worked together to create something new. This track scores fairly well on that front. The Beyonce backing is softer and warmer than the original Busta/Alfamega, which helps to take a little of the edge of its harshness. |
Cons:

The track's mastered very loud, which coupled with the harsh prominence of the vocals drowns out any subtlety in the Beyonce instrumental. |
| Tips: |
Reduce the volume of the vocal a little and ease back on the volume and compression - the Busta vocal packs quite enough punch without forcing it into people's ears. It would have much more impact as a mashup too if you worked in some of Beyonce's vocals in there, especially towards the end. This would also help soften out the harshness of the track too, which gets a bit much for me over the full length of the song. |
