When people think about Mike Alegre – They think about a great producer with experience and great quality. Well... this time is no exception! The track is a good take on Lady Gaga, congratulations mate !!!
Cons:
Technically I have nothing to say except I review the track called Papapillon (Lady Gaga vs. The Editors). Its cut off was cut in the end - I don’t know if that was an error on the link or something else.
Tips:
A good one could be to do just 2 versions of the mashup but it’s only a tip

I love the driving feel of the track. It unfolds like a finest kind of marvel full of appeal and vigor. The pitching is perfect on the combo. She keeps up splendidly with the backing.
One would be hard-pressed to spot this as a bastard pop track unless formerly-informed.

Retire now at this tremendous success. (only kidding, never stop!)

This is a great idea as both tracks are paired up beautifully. The Frozen instrumental (apart from being brilliant) is in perfect key with the Linkin Park acapella and its ambience combined with the emotionally charged vocals gives the mashup a certain cinematic feel. Nice cover, too :)
Cons:
There are times when the LP acapella is out of synch with the instrumental (chorus, 2:04, 3:07). Additionally, it is way too loud in the mix and therefore does not tie into the instrumental's ambience.
Tips:
Please try to re-synch the vocals. I'd rework the time stretching on the chorus as at points it sounds a bit sped up and I'd also turn down the LP vocals. Some subtle filtering would be good, too, in order to give the acapella a dreamy, shoegaze vibe - think of Cocteau Twins, Ulrich Schnauss, Delerium etc. As you can see this is not big deal, we're only talking about minor tweaks that won't take you more than say an hour to apply but IMO they would vastly improve the song. I might sound too picky but I certainly do not want to discourage you. It just happens that I'm into this kind of music (just give me anything by Robin Guthrie LOL) and I think that your track has potential but needs some polishing. Please give your mashup another go and send me over the new version. Cheers!

I like the concept of the track. The joining of the disparate elements as a mix works well. I like the vocals other than the beck. You did a fine job on the levels of the track.
Cons:
It has a sluggish tempo that diminishes it's potential. A somewhat livelier tempo would aid it imho. The beck vocal doesn't always feel in pitch. Also,the vocal adjustment of the beck vocal is much more noticeable than is preferred. He sounds fatigued. The overall production sound is a little rough.
Tips:
Try for a fuller production sound. You can mix them quieter & double the versions up to enrich the final track. Beck can be adjusted & sound better, perhaps with a different mixing program. The new ACID program does a fine job on voice alterations. An added effect like phasing or others can lift the sound of the altered pella. I don't intend to be so brutal in my review, but sometimes even tho' a mix works in degrees it doesn't give it the crucial element of likeability that a great bootleg requires. I know, I've been there. A slight bit of compression would aid it some.

I had to listen to the original tracks here to understand what you have done. You’ve tried something here that’s ambitious. A mash would normally involve mixing an acapella with an instrumental, from what I could make out you’ve used an instrumental with an original track. In other words, you haven’t actually used an acapella.
Cons:
This is a hard process to pull off. Your beat matching in particular has to be 100% spot on, I’m afraid yours is not.
Tips:
Master the basics before you move on Mike. I always salute people trying new things, but without the basics you have no foundation to move on from.

A very good A+B mash you did here, it’s a simple, but powerful track that’s very fresh sounding. The tracks harmonies work great and the tempo and track duration are perfect. I give you an A mate !!!!

Two of my favourite songs ever mashed! I might be a bit biased here. I thought that I wasn't going to like this but was very pleasantly surprised.... these two work well together. It's a good clean 'pella (can I have it....pls, pls, pls, ) and well produced throughout. A very listenable tune.
Cons:
There are just a couple of very minor timing issues and the vocals could do with stretching in a couple of places just to fit the 'mental a little more.
Tips:
Have a look in the Shoutbox for tips on stretching software.

Interesting mix this one. It has six tracks blended into one. But .....................
Cons:
The entire middle of the track is The Cure. Your track would be better of described as a mega-mix. You’ve also used Katy Perry, seriously, don’t use her back catalogue. She has been over mashed and you will find that people just don’t bother to listen.
Tips:
If you want to do the multi songs into one thing, you should really choose your source tracks with the same musical scales. Listen to either ‘The Cheesiest Mashup In The World’ by Calmucho, or for a more scaled down version ‘My Life On The Crazy Train Sucks’ by Marc Johnce & Dan Mei (DMF).
