This round will open for submissions on September 12th 2011, it will close for submissions on September 30th 2011. The theme for this round is open. Since it's our starting round we encourage you to be as creative as possible. Please also note rounds two and three will have dedicated themes. All submissions to this competition should be new, unheard productions - Don't send us something you posted elsewhere because it got a good response. All submissions are EXCLUSIVE to Mashstix.com for the duration of the competition. This means you cannot post the track anywhere else whilst the competition is ongoing. Although, not compulsory for round one this year - if you choose to make a video for your track please use the competition video banner to allow your listeners / viewers to read about the competition. The only people who may not enter any round are Dylan Vasey and Paul Stix. Everyone else is encouraged to enter!

UNDERSTANDING THE VOTING PROCEDURE:

Round One will be decided by public vote. Voting is open as soon as your track is up on the site. This means the early birds have more time to get votes! Mashstix.com already has thousands of listeners who may vote for your submission, but it is worth getting your own attention. Try getting people to vote for your track on Facebook, Twitter and other websites (please remember you can only post your dedicated link - not the actual track on any other sites). You must get a minimum of 20 votes. Your vote average will be used to determine if you reach the following round. Any attempt to rig the voting system by either giving other submissions a 'bad' vote or voting using an IP address hider will result in a ban from this site. We've caught people before - so don't do it!

DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING?:

Don't enter - It's as simple as that. Mashstix.com (acting as Paul Stix, Dylan Vasey or Dave Comstock) has the final decision in everything covered surrounding this competition. We work hard, for months before competitions gathering sponsors and making thing as fair as possible. When all is said and done - it's just a competition, have fun !

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I ENTER?:

We consider it fair to limit the number of tracks one person can submit in ROUND ONE to two. In ROUND TWO and the FINAL, only one submission per person may be submitted.
