Great jinky jiggy tune. Couldn't help bobbing about in my seat, and had to take this off the headphones and onto the system and turn it up. Great fun, nice and happy.
When i first saw i had a Ting Ting tune to review i was a bit disturbed, there's so many boots done using that tune, but then i saw you'd used the mental and this made me happy. Then i saw it was with Billy Idol and i got happier. And then i listened to it and got even more happier.
I was very happy.
A really nice pop bootleg, spot on pairing and tune selection Frog. I like the structure too - makes nice use of the Tings Tings track.
Cons:
At 1:09 when the guitar comes in it's really quiet compared to the rest of the music - what was the quality of the mental you used?
From 2:30 onwards it gets very top heavy - you could defo have brought the treble down a bit there to take the edge off. And the vocals get drowned out - are they meant to be fading or listenable? Sounds a bit undecided.
Generally it doesn't sound too crisp
Tips:
For Frogg - I think it could do with some eq'ing to help the vocals sit a bit better, and perhaps bringing them up in the mix a tad. It's very mental heavy at the moment and i want to hear Billy owning the track like he would.
Some extra production / mastering to help it punch through the speakers would have helped a bit. But that said, i still grabbed download :)
For everyone else - listen to this and then download it and then play it at parties.
I love the fact that you've got Patsy Cline into a mash up, not that many others have done it! This tune has masses of potential bit, to my ears, still needs some work. I like the vocal interaction eg. @ 1:20! The timing seems to be good and there are just a couple of little clashy bits but this could be a real contender with a little more concentration, the kind of tune I, for one, would love.
Cons:
I'm not sure if the pella is home-made (if it is, props on that!) but it still sounds a bit dirty and Patsy's voice a little too quiet in the mix.
Tips:
Revisit the pella again and see if you can clean it up some more, then bring Patsy's vocal to the front a little more. Nice work thus far mate!

Sorry for the delay! Technically this mash is well made, key wise and tempo wise its done very well and I think I’ve only heard rap from you so this is a nice change. I’m sure the rock n roll fans will get along with this one.
Cons:
There are no real cons, but the track is a bit dull – it never seems to go anywhere. I’ve heard better from you in the past.
Tips:
You know what you’re doing. **Note By Paul Stix: Label your sources bud, if you don't care, neither do I.

You managed to make a very good dance mix out of Paul and Jacko's 80s hit. Although I haven't the slightest what the backing track is, it's still a very good listen. ;) Sound quality and production are quite good too. All in all, this is a very nice track for the dance floors, I say!
Cons:
At 1:46 the mix seems to get a bit out of key. At 2:12 it seems to fall back into place when the harmonica sets in. The track ends a bit abruptly, which sounds a bit strange. Also, the mp3-file itself does not contain any ID3-tags or a file name with some description or your DJ name (!)
Tips:
Try to get the clashy parts out between 1:46 and 2:12. You can do this by repeating a part of the track that does fit. You might want to fix the abrupt ending by either fading out the track or echoing out a part of the vocals. Also, please add descriptive ID3-tags to your songs and proper file names - they're both to serve as info for the listener, and they give you some extra exposure. People won't remember you if you don't tag properly. This might all sound pretty harsh, but don't get me wrong - overall you did a very good job on this and I really like it.

This is a very entertaining combo. It's kind of intriguing to hear B-Real's voice over such a mellow blues track. :) Somehow this combo makes sense - the mellow rap vocals and the backing track blend very well. Sound quality and mastering on this one are excellent.
Cons:
Although the sound quality is good, there are a few clashy parts in the chorus. I think you need to pitch the chorus up by one semitone to make it all fit. The song might be a tad too short. After only 2:17 it's all over too soon. Oh well...
Tips:
Pitch up the vocals in the chorus and you've got a surefire winner on your hands! Find a solo to fit in between or a way to strech the fun a bit and you'll have a stomper of a tune.

Hell yeah, it's about time someone came along and did a good rap/rock mashup here. This is an excellent combo that reminds me of the songs from the legendary Judgement Night soundtrack or the tunes from Ice-T's Bodycount. Tempo, timing and sounds quality are all ace on this one.
Cons:
None that I can think of - looping the backing track could have been a bit repetitive, but the solos in the middle of the song give it a bit of a breather.
Tips:
Nope, no tips - good job!

Punchy and Jazzy sounding with great quality materials used. Lovely crossover ( I presume?) at 2:14 to the rock backing track. Overall equalising and beat matching of the vocal was spot on, and the whole thing sounded quite fruity and fresh, however...
Cons:
...I felt ~ bar the Eminem vocal which worked really well ~ that the female vocal key didn't really compliment the backing track. It wasn't tragically wrong, but it did sound out of key against the rest of the song. As I said, Eminem seemed to fit very well, but I guess the style and mostly keyless tone to his vocal probably helped here, and he did work very nicely against the Instrumental. I guess in the world of Rappy Hip Hop you could get away with this as I have heard worse key clashes in commercial rap-based songs! I was left wondering what songs you had actually used however ~ so...
Tips:
...It would have been nice to have known what 2 (3?) pieces of source material you used for your Mashup. Obviously I recognise the Eminem track, but I was unsure what the backing track(s) you used were. In the future try and include a little bit more information on your tracks download page such as 'Acappella: xxx Instrumental: xxx' etc. This is especially handy if the material you are using is a bit less mainstream than 'Britney meets Michael Jackson' for example.

This is the first Rebel Yell mash I've heard and its a corker. The mental turns the 'pella into a cracking rock tune. Billys gruff vocals sit nicely with the screaming guitars. I think Billy would love this if he heard it.
Cons:
Too short.......
Tips:
Make it longer ;) !

The Spirit in the Sky instrumental is a classic, so it's interesting to hear it slammed up against a modern vocal. It works way better than I would have expected and even though I'm no rap fan, I enjoyed this a lot.
Cons:
It's a bit too short at the moment to play in the clubs, though the wind-down at the end is a nice touch.
Tips:
Wind it back up into a final chorus and you've got a much more club and radio-friendly track.
